Half a year has passed since Sakuta entered his first year of university. His campus life has been peaceful, meeting new people and enjoying the company of friends from high school, including his girlfriend, Mai Sakurajima.
One day in October, Nodoka Toyohama, Mai’s younger sister who attends the same university as Sakuta, comes to him for advice. Uzuki Hirokawa, the leader of Sweet Bullet, an idol group to which Nodoka belongs, begins to receive more offers for solo activities.
This causes Nodoka to feel concerned about the group's future. The next day, Sakuta feels something is off when he sees Uzuki in class…
